Firearms Repair

A repair / maintenance service is offered by Stepan's Auto Service.  All repairs are done at our own specially equipped and secure location.  Every weapon that is repaired or serviced is fully tested and in top working order when it leaves our location.  Firearms that are serviced or repaired by our firm are covered by a 60 day warrenty covering labor and specially made parts only.

Firearms can be shipped to Stepan's Auto Service by the following procedure.  Take your rifle or pistol to your local sporting good center, gun shop, or FFL-holder.  Your FFL-holder will exchange documents with Stepan's Auto Service, and they will ship your firearm to us.  Make sure that you include your contact information, (phone number), to ensure good communications between you, the owner, and the repair shop.  Your weapon will be examined and a list of corrections will be made at which time you, (owner), will authorize the work to be performed.  After corrections are performed, the firearm is returned to "your" FFL-holder, from whom you will receive your  weapon. 

All repairs are to be paid in the form of money orders only.  The weapon's owner is responsible for all shipping charges, special handling charges, and repair parts / labor charges.

Replacement Parts & Accessories

The price / cost of replacement parts are subject to change without notice.  Any replacement parts that are fabricated are done so at the rate of $75.oo per hour, with a minimum charge of $35.oo for setup.  All material used to manufacture parts / accessories are charged by the quantity used.

Original accessories are priced according to their availability.  Reproduction and after-market accessories will be provided at market prices plus any shipping and / or handling charges.  Payment for parts and / or accessories will be held 12 days to guarantee the payment instrument (funding), clearing local banks / savings & loan institution.  Other than specially manufactured parts, all parts / accessories are sold as is, with no warrenty or guarantee expressed or implied.  All sales of parts, (other than specially made parts), are final.  No refunds or exchanges will be made, no substitution of parts or accessories will be allowed or accepted.

R & D  Department

This area is dedicated to new and ongoing projects applicable to the M10 and other weapons based on the Ingram designs.  You may submit any ideas or suggestions you feel would improve the Ingram designed weapon system.
